A written programme must be brought to the examination.- A minimum of five pieces of different styles from music theatre, oratorio/concerto and Lied; the works must be performed from memory (except oratorio).

- Haydn: Early sonatas (e.g. from Henle, Volume 1)
- Schumann: Album for the youth
- Prokofiev: Musique d'enfants

Applicants must show that they have a basic knowledge of piano playing and sight-reading.

The Bachelor's degree programme in vocal studies (performance) prepares students for their future careers, which can be very individual. Graduates of this course typically work as a soloist at an opera house or as a choral singer in a professional choir, but also as a freelance soloist or chamber musician. This places high demands on the artistic abilities as well as the personality and the communication and marketing skills of graduates.
