University Choir
The Nuremberg University of Music's large choir consists of around 50 singers and is open to anyone who enjoys singing in a community and would like to contribute to the musical life of the university. Oratorios and choral symphonic works by various composers from the Baroque and Romantic periods to contemporary music are performed in weekly rehearsals. The programmes, which change each semester, are performed in concert halls both inside and outside the university.
Christoph Schäfer has conducted Nuremberg University Choir since 2024.
