When asked about the atmosphere at Nuremberg University of Music, Prof Stefan Tischler said: "I appreciate the family atmosphere at this wonderful university! Practical and lively teaching is simply lived here, short distances, uncomplicated communication and flat hierarchies are known to make everyday work easier".
On working with budding artists, he explained: "I believe that a good teacher should never stop learning! Working with the students, I often find answers to questions that I have been asking myself for a long time. After all, it is a great responsibility and task to offer young people inspiration, perspective and a way to explore and immerse themselves in the wonderful world of music-making. "
His teaching also inspires and supports him as a performing musician: his wealth of experience as an orchestral musician, chamber musician and soloist forms an important basis for his teaching, says Prof Stefan Tischler.
He looks forward to "continuing to make an active contribution to a vibrant university where students receive an excellent education and the best possible support on their way to a bright professional future with lots of fantastic music!
