Palina Pratasouskaya was born in Minsk, Belarus. She graduated from the Republican Music High School of the Belarusian State Academy of Music in the class of Natalia Zaitseva. From 2019, she studied with Prof. Igor Malinovsky at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden and successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in 2024. She is currently studying for a master's degree with Prof Daniel Gaede at the Nuremberg University of Music.
At the age of 7, Palina made her debut with a chamber orchestra in the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, she has performed regularly as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, and has worked with the State Symphony and Chamber Orchestras of the Belarusian State Philharmonic.
Palina Pratasouskaya has won prizes at numerous international and national competitions. She has participated in various competitions and masterclasses in Russia, Germany, France, Italy and Azerbaijan. From 2016 to 2019 she took part in the international chamber music festival "Musica Mundi" in Belgium. She was also invited to the Minsk-Solingen Festival in 2015-2017, where she gave concerts in many cities in Germany. Her first solo concert took place in 2017 in the Small Hall "G. Shirma" of the Belarusian State Philharmonic.
Palina has participated in master classes with renowned professors such as Daniel Gaede, David Frühwirth, Erik Schumann, Kirill Troussov, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Jerome Pernoo, Alexandra Soumm, Ivry Gitlis, Menahem Pressler, Mikhail Zemtsov, Vladimir Perlin, Matthew Hunter, Rollo Kovac, Tatyana Samuil and Alexander Trostyansky. She has also received masterclasses from members of the Prazak String Quartet, the Heath String Quartet, the Talich String Quartet and the Leipzig String Quartet.
She is also one of the organisers of Les Passionnés, a group of talented young musicians who perform chamber music, solo recitals and contemporary music.
