Duration: 15-20 minutes
A written programme must be brought to the examination.- Performance of three practised jazz/pop standards in as many different tempos, metres and grooves as possible (e.g. swing, jazz waltz, Latin), ternary and binary grooves must be played (all pieces should be played "four-four" or with a solo chorus)
- Performance of a practised etude (e.g. Wilcoxon) or a solo transcription
- Sight-reading
