The Bachelor of Music (Music Education) prepares students for a wide range of artistic and pedagogical careers. The combination of artistic and pedagogical content opens up a wide range of career opportunities, from permanent employment in an educational or artistic institution to freelance work as a musician or instrumental teacher.

Possible places of employment are, for example, music schools, instrumental teaching in general schools or day-care centres, vocational schools and (further) education institutions of all kinds. It is also possible, for example, to work in the field of concert pedagogy, where graduates are equally active as performers and educators.
