News Success Patrick Bullinger receives Bavaria 2024 Culture Award

Patrick Bullinger, a Master's graduate from the Nuremberg University of Music, was awarded the Bavarian Culture Prize 2024on 14 November 2024 for his academic achievements. The musician, who lives in Nuremberg, received the prize for his Master's thesis "The Happiness of Choral Singing" in the Master's programme in Music Education. In his dissertation, he investigated the relationship between feelings of happiness and singing in a choir. Congratulations!

The exact title of the final thesis is "The Happiness of Choral Conducting - What can conductors do to ensure that their singers perceive choral work as (personal) happiness? A survey on the participation motives of singers in amateur choirs".

The prize money is 2,000 euros.
