Artist in Residence: Charlotte Greve
Each Young Lions on Stage festival invites an Artist in Residence, this year the renowned jazz musician Charlotte Greve, who organises workshops with the students during the festival and shares her experience. It has also become a tradition for the artist in residence to give a concert with the workshop ensemble and their own formation, this year the trio "Choir invisible". This concert will also take place at the AEG on Monday 29 April.

Concerts at the Jazz Studio
During the three weeks of the festival there will be concerts with two bands in the Jazz Studio on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All concerts start at 8pm.
About the festival
The Festival for Young Jazz Musicians is a cooperation between the University of Music Nuremberg (HfM) and the Jazz Studio Nuremberg.
The aim of the event is to make it easier for young music students to enter the public arena and to present themselves and their bands to the public. To this end, concerts with two bands each will be organised over three weeks at the Jazz Studio on Paniersplatz.
All band leaders are students of the University of Music. External band members (friends, acquaintances) are allowed. All bands perform free of charge, with only a small allowance for expenses.
The festival is financially supported by the Cultural Mayor of the City of Nuremberg, Bayerischer Rundfunk and the instrument maker Harald Dallhammer.
