News Success Anna Eberle wins audition with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra

Anna Eberle (class of Prof. Clara Dent-Bogányi) has secured a temporary contract as solo cor anglais player with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations!

Anna Eberle was born in Vorarlberg, Austria, in 1999 and received her first oboe lessons at the age of 8. She studied at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory from 2014 to 2020 and at the Nuremberg University of Music with Prof. Clara Dent-Bogányi since October 2020.

In addition to her studies, she has attended master classes with renowned oboists such as Hansjörg Schellenberger and Maurice Bourgue. She has gained orchestral experience as a substitute with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra and as principal oboist with the 4 Länder Jugendphilharmonie Quarta.

She has won competition prizes both as a chamber musician and as a soloist, including first prize at the Austrian competition "Prima La Musica" in 2016 and 2018, as well as first prize at the Podium Förderpreis 2020 in Liechtenstein and the first prize at the D-bü competition for new concert formats in Trossingen in 2022.
